RACHAEL COLLYE-Rogers
Program Director, Ohio Student Association
Rachael has been organizing since 2012, when she first got involved with the Ohio Student Association as a student at the Ohio State University. After graduating, she continued to pursue organizing and has since worked on ballot initiatives, electoral campaigns, and issue campaigns ranging from criminal justice reform to higher education and more. She has experience developing grassroots voter guides, building organizations and coalitions, and has trained hundreds of organizers over the years.
Rachael has been on staff at the Ohio Organizing Collaborative since 2017, and currently supports the organizing staff of the Ohio Student Association and Parents United for Public Schools, along with growing a public school parent base in Northeast Ohio, which is where she is from. As a public school graduate and the mother of a young son, she is deeply committed to building power for public education, both K-12 and higher education.
Rachael is a true believer in the transformative power of organizing - on a personal level as well as the mechanism through which we can build collective power to transform the world as it is into the world that we dream of and deserve.
