Nick Tuell
Education Campaign Director, All In For Ohio Kids Coalition
Nick Tuell is a seasoned political strategist with a strong background in government, electoral campaigns, and advocacy communications. He has worked across Ohio to support citizen-led referendum and amendment initiatives, President Obama’s 2012 reelection campaign, and four election cycles with the Ohio House Democratic Caucus focusing on organizing, digital strategy, and messaging.
Nick began his career in public service at the Ohio Statehouse, first as a Legislative Aide to State Representative Stephen Slesnick, and later as Senior Legislative Aide to House Minority Leader Fred Strahorn. In these roles, he specialized in state policy development, legislative research, and community outreach. He went on to serve as the Chief Spokesperson for Franklin County Clerk of Courts Maryellen O’Shaughnessy, leading communications for one of Ohio’s largest court systems.
Most recently, Nick served as Senior Communications Director at Innovation Ohio, where he led strategic messaging efforts for the organization and supported the broader progressive movement in Ohio.
Nick holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Ohio University, with certificates in Political Communication and Gender Studies.
