Jenn Schrock
Regional Parent Organizer, Parents United for Public Schools
Jenn Schrock is a parent organizer with Parents United for Public Schools (PUPS). She is passionate about defending public education and building power with parents across Ohio. She is working to strengthen our communities’ voices to stand up against the attacks on public education.
Jenn’s commitment to advocacy began during her college years at the University of Dayton, where she graduated in 2005 and was an active member of SAFE (Students Advocating Female Equality). After graduation, she returned to her hometown of Dover, OH, and spent 12 years working as an adult mental health case manager at Community Mental Healthcare. This experience taught her the importance of meeting people where they are and working alongside them to create meaningful change.
Since 2020, Jenn’s been deeply involved in community organizing around social justice and public education issues in New Philadelphia, OH. She currently serves on the New Philadelphia Board of Education, where she is fighting to ensure New Philadelphia Schools have the resources and support they need to serve every student.
When she’s not organizing or attending board meetings, you'll find her at home with her husband Dave, their incredible kids Ben and Ramona, and their annoying yet adorable pets Poppy, Sonic, and Zoe. Jenn’s kids remind her every day why this work matters—because every child deserves access to well-funded, quality public education in their own community.
